HOSTING A BUSINESS & SOCIAL HOUR (BASH) IS AN ENJOYABLE OPPORTUNITY TO

SPOTLIGHT YOUR BUSINESS WHILE NETWORKING WITH FELLOW MEMBERS OF THE

GREATER WALNUT CREEK COMMUNITY.


EACH BASH IS TYPICALLY HELD ON THE LAST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH AND IS HOSTED BY A

MEMBER OF THE WALNUT CREEK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. THE BASH IS HELD AT THE

MEMBER'S PLACE OF BUSINESS FROM 5:30PM - 7:00PM.

Host Responsibilities for a Business & Social Hour
Host will provide a location to accommodate a minimum of 75 - 100 people with small bites for at least 75 - 100 attendees. Host provides wine and a non-alcoholic beverage for at least 75 -100 people. Beer and mixed drinks optional. Bar can be host or no host; however, hosting or drink tickets are encouraged. Provide space and a registration table with two chairs for check-in. Provide at least one door prize - Drawing will be held at the end. Designate a company representative to speak.

The Chamber Agrees To:
Provide advance promotion of the event via the Chamber's website, newsletter emails, and on social media. Provide nametags. Have at least one Chamber Ambassador available for greeting and guest check-in. Reserve the right to display Chamber and Chamber member products which do not compete with those offered by the host. Provide Chamber member mailing labels if host decides to mail out invitations for the event.
